taylor levy law

Taylor Levy is an immigration attorney focused on border and asylum cases, offering private mentoring, education, and advocacy to fellow attorneys and organizations. She has represented asylum-seekers in numerous immigration detention facilities, including families detained at the Artesia Family Residential Center. Taylor has played a critical role in reuniting families separated during the “zero tolerance” period and has supported thousands of asylum-seekers affected by the“Remain in Mexico” program and “Title 42” border restrictions.
In addition to casework, Taylor is actively involved in shaping policy and providing training for other attorneys, helping to improve immigration practices and outcomes. Through private consultations, Taylor also offers tailored guidance to attorneys, helping them navigate challenging cases and stay updated on evolving laws.
In June 2021, the State Bar of Texas Immigration & Nationality Law Section awarded Taylor the Trailblazer of the Year Award. The American Immigration Lawyers Association honored her with the 2020 Arthur C. Helton Human Rights Award. Taylor also received the Recent Alumni Award from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in August 2019, where she later served as an adjunct professor, and the Liberty Bell Award from the El Paso Young Lawyers’ Association in May 2019. She holds a J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, an M.A. from the University of Texas at El Paso, and a B.A. from the University of Colorado.
